What will you be doing at age 86?

Here is an awesome clip of Johanna Quaas taken recently at the 2012 Cottbus competition. Well done!

Gymnastics has many different formats. Some are very popular and others are not so well known.

Under the “Hat” of Gymnastics Australia are the following;

  • General Gymnastics
  • Artistic Gymnastics
  • Rhythmic Gymnastics
  • Trampoline Sports
  • Sports Acrobatics
  • Sports Aerobics
  • Cheerleading

So as you can see, it’s not just the more common ”Artistic Gymnastics”  that you may be familiar with.

Channel 10 TV’s kids program “Totally Wild” did a segment on Sports Acrobatics. It’s a great article on the sport and what it involves in a number of their own disciplines. Check it out by clicking the following link to go to their website -> Totally Wild (Specific video starts automatically after a short advert and program introduction)
